"Took the car in for a brake check which was booked in at 8.30am. Still hadnt been looked at by 2.30. Advised I needed front and back brakes and disks (which i expected) to the tune of 880 pound. When I arrived the guy on reception advised me to scrap the car and put the money into something decent. I managed to get the repairs to the car done, as well as an additional repair they hadnt identified for 550 pound at another local garage. Further more upon collection I was also advised I needed 4 new tyres. All tyres have been checked at halfords and nothing wrong with any of them all within legal tread depth. AVOID....scamming, trying to get money out of people and also rude telling people to scrap their cars. My car has 70k miles, certainly wont be scrapping it cos of brakes. Obviously seen a women and thought they could squeeze money out of me. I have now booked in my MOT else where."
