"My car was in on Thursday for a clutch replacement. Hadn't heard anything all day about it and called before 5pm to ask what was happening but no answer. The next morning I called and spoke to the receptionist who I have had a few pleasant interactions with. I asked what was happening and she said they just kept it longer because the work was taking longer than expected. I said thats okay but why wasn't I informed yesterday since it is my property that they kept hold of overnight without my knowledge. She immediately became extremely defensive and said "Well I apologise" in an insincere way. I was trying to explain that I understood but it would have been nice to be informed. She repeatedly interrupted me as I was trying to calmy express my worry. She was rude and completely unprofessional. She called me patronising and accused me of "being funny". After trying to defend myself and diffuse the conversation, I asked if I could please speak- She then said she was going to hang up on me and did so. I was left in tears as I couldn't understand why I was spoken to in such a manner. I barely even wanted to come back to the garage to pick my car up. I have been a loyal customer since getting my first car 3 years ago and the lads have always been trustworthy and do a brilliant job. However I have been so deeply hurt by this interaction, that I would much rather take my custom to a different garage than call up and make an appointment for any future services here. The lads always do a great job, but don't call to enquire or complain as you will not be met with a professional on the other end of the phone."
